-Set a Date
Put your goal on a calendar when you set precise goals with dates and times. When you set a date with goals, you’ll know precisely when you’ve achieved it and you get to bathe in the warm goal-achieving glow.
-Start Small
Setting small achievable goals will keep you on track to achieve even bigger goals. If you had a goal to start working out 5 days a week, goal set for only 5 minutes the first week. It may sound too easy, but if you can do 5 minutes 5 days a week before you know it you’ll be able to work your way up to 20 mins 5 days a week.
-Commit Publicly
These days social media is all about over sharing, but now’s your chance to use FB for some good. Committing to your goals publicly will hold you accountable, and that’s always half the battle in goal setting.
– Get Excited
That’s right, get excited about your goal! Achieving goals can be hard work, so if you’re not excited you’ll lose steam quickly. Those goals aren’t gonna achieve themselves so get your attitude right and you’ll be crossing them off your list in no time.
